APT Artists at FIAC 2009

October 15, 2009, Paris, France – Artist Pension Trust® (APT) is pleased to congratulate and recognize the more than 100 APT artists on view at FIAC October 22-25, 2009. In honor of this exceptional representation at the French contemporary art fair, APT will host a reception with Nicy Gallery on the evening of October 22, 2009 at 6:30pm. The gallery is located at 40, rue de la tour d’Auvergne, Paris FRANCE 75009 (Métro: Notre Dame de Lorette / St Georges).
APT is the first investment program created specifically to provide emerging and mid-career artists with a long-term financial planning opportunity through the collective contribution of their artworks. APT consists of eight individual trusts developed around major art centers globally (New York, London, Beijing, Berlin, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Mumbai and Dubai). Comprised of up to 250 artists each, every APT is defined by an accomplished group of art professionals with an expertise in contemporary art—selecting each artist based on the quality of their work, their career growth potential, and their participation in the contemporary art scene. These artists work closely with our APT Directors to build a proprietary collection of their artworks within the framework of the APT Collection. The growing collection currently stands at a 4,500 artworks and represents more than 1,100 artists from over 50 countries.
